- CEO Summit
- Each spring and fall, VHA Georgia offers a two-day event geared towards member CEOs, their executive leadership, physician leaders, key board members and other key individuals depending on the summit content. This concept began in 2005 with a CEO Quality Summit and since then we have offered topics ranging from board engagement to clinical integration to health care reform. See below for specific information about this year’s summits:
- Learning Laboratory for Margin Improvement
- To better facilitate information exchange and to pass along “gems” of information, VHA Georgia offers full-day interactive workshops that bring members together to not only hear from national experts, but to share best practices among themselves with the main goal of improving each member’s operational margin.

- Trustee Institute
- Geared towards hospital trustees and executives including chief executive officers, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, medical directors, and physician leaders, the VHA Georgia Trustee Institute offers education on broad health topics to help attendees better govern and manage their health care organizations. Topics include political updates, financial outlooks, hospital-physician relations, not-for-profit issues, clinical quality and leadership.
- VHA Georgia Regional Leadership Expo
- This one-day event highlights member best practices via a poster session and also features contracted products and services at our supplier trade show. Members can receive continuing education by hearing national content experts speak on timely healthcare topics. The day concludes with an award ceremony recognizing the projects that received the highest marks through a peer review process.
