Conference Overview

Attend the 2015 VHA Georgia Leadership Expo for a day of education, networking and leading practice sharing. As health care leaders, it is important to efficiently manage the complexities of our current health care environment so that your teams continue to meet their goals and objectives. Being part of VHA Georgia means you have a body of peers and colleagues that are also experiencing similar challenges and the demand for higher quality, more affordable health care. By coming together, VHA Georgia members will have an opportunity to interact with others who can provide insights, ideas and support.

By attending this event, you will be able to identify techniques for navigating the complexities of health care which include learning how to:

  • Lead and manage these complexities
  • Engage physicians
  • Reduce readmissions; pursue bundled payments; process changes
  • Reduce CAUTI infections
  • Structure Patient-Centered Medical Homes
  • Handle chronic and acute pain management (ortho/spine)
  • Manage and minimize falls

All of these objectives will be met through expert keynotes, leading practice breakout sessions, poster case study exhibits and a vendor expo. Over 80 leading practices will be shared by VHA Georgia members during the poster exhibit, the winners of which will be recognized during our awards celebration and luncheon.
